Merry Christmas, now make me a sandwhich!

Lily didn't quite have a full grasp of what is going on around her this Christmas, but she did figure out that wrapped gifts were likely for her, and they were likely to be awesome (or, as Lily would say "oh, cool!).

Lately, Lily has been very interested in play cooking and kitchens. For her big Christmas gift, we gave her a Fischer-Price Grow With Me kitchen, and everyone else loaded her up with wood and plastic groceries. She loves it. I have been offered, if not forced fed, felt pizza, hardwood hamburgers, and plastic broccoli many times. Mmmm, Mmmm, good!

One of her favorite kitchen accessories has been the Elmo Microwave. On Christmas morning, once she opened that gift, she wasn't really interested in anything else. In a true sign of our times, it has also become the primary way most of my fake dinners are cooked.

Lily was also given the gift of powered mobility in the form a Tinkerbell quad! At the moment, Lily doesn't have a good understanding of how to make it move or steer, but she knows it's hers, and that I am not supposed to ride it.

This year Santa channeled his inner FDR and brought Lily "a wooden chicken in her pot, and a Tinkerbell 4-wheeler in her garage."

Here are some pics from Christmas.
